NUBIRAWAVE®: Iberchem’s digital platform to create blooming fragrances with emotional benefits 

Following the launch of O-DOOR® in 2025, Iberchem continues to integrate data-driven tools into its fragrance creation process, empowering perfumers with greater creativity, flexibility, and precision.

NUBIRAWAVE® is Iberchem’s new smart digital palette, designed to support the creation of tailor-made fragrances with blooming performance while targeting specific emotional benefits, when required. This 2-in-1 digital platform combines blooming diffusion physics with neuroscience insights to help design fragrances that deliver enhanced performance and a longer-lasting sensory experience during use.

This technology has been specifically developed for rinse-off products in both personal care and home care, such as body washes, shampoos, and dishwashing liquids. These applications provide the ideal conditions for the blooming diffusion technology, which is activated by the combination of water, friction, heat, and humidity during use.

Traditional rinse-off products can lose up to 80% of their fragrance during use. By incorporating blooming diffusion technology, fragrance release can be optimized, enhancing both fragrance intensity and longevity throughout the consumer experience, now with superior performance than Iberchem’s previous technology, NeoLift®.

NUBIRAWAVE® supports fragrance creation by digitally analyzing the physical properties of fragrance ingredients alongside emotional response data. By combining these two datasets, the platform identifies the most suitable ingredients, helping perfumers create fragrances that deliver both enhanced blooming performance and, optionally, targeted emotional benefits.
