Iberchem introduces NovaSilk®, a Technology for the creation of Water-Based and Alcohol-free Fragrances

Iberchem, a leading fragrance creation company, joins the growing interest in alcohol-free fragrances with the launch of its latest technology, NovaSilk®.  

This innovation, developed by Iberchem’s in-house scientific team, consists of a concentrated, alcohol-free fragrance formula. The technology is supplied ready to be diluted in water to create a fine fragrance in various end-consumer applications, thereby avoiding the use and transportation of alcohol. Available in two versions, NovaSilk® and NovaSilk® Clear, these solutions are flexible and adapt to the needs of each brand, as they are a technology developed by the company. 

Introduced for the first time at the 2026 edition of In-Cosmetics Global in Paris, NovaSilk® is defined as an opaque-profile macroemulsion with a fluid, silky texture and a slightly opalescent finish on the skin, delivering an immersive sensory experience. NovaSilk®Clear, on the other hand, takes the form of a transparent microemulsion characterized by a light, fresh, and hydrating texture, offering a sense of purity and transparency upon application.

A Concentrated Solution

Thanks to its concentrated format, NovaSilk® is positioned as a more sustainable solution, as it eliminates the use of alcohol both in production and transportation. This approach helps optimize logistics and storage processes, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint across brands’ supply chains.
