NovaSilk®: Alcohol-Free Milky Fragrance Technology

NovaSilk® is Iberchem’s macroemulsion technology designed to create alcohol-free fragrance systems with a characteristic milky or pearlescent appearance.

 

A new product concept between perfumery and cosmetic care

NovaSilk® allows fragrances to be incorporated into water-based systems through a macroemulsion structure that disperses the fragrance within the aqueous phase.

This approach generates fragrance formats with a soft and cosmetic-like sensorial character, opening new opportunities for product concepts positioned between perfumery and cosmetic care.

NovaSilk®Clear: Alcohol-Free Clear Fragrance Technology

NovaSilk®Clear is Iberchem’s microemulsion technology developed to enable the incorporation of fragrances into water-based systems while maintaining a transparent appearance, together with a light sensorial profile and suitable physical stability.

In these systems, the fragrance is solubilised within the aqueous phase through a microemulsion structure, allowing the creation of clear fragrance formats without the use of ethanol as a solvent.

 

Microemulsion system up to 20% of fragrance

NovaSilk®Clear microemulsion systems have been designed to incorporate fragrances up to 20%, depending on the fragrance composition and the intended product concept.

A Ready-To-Use Premix

NovaSilk® and NovaSilk®Clear are supplied as a ready-to-use premix, designed to simplify the creation of alcohol-free fragrance systems.

During product preparation, the premix can be diluted in water and combined with an appropriate preservative system to obtain the final fragrance base.
