Empowering career development paths for young people with autism in Shanghai, China
Iberchem continues to strengthen its commitment to empowering vulnerable communities, attending the launch ceremony of Xingyao Workshop and Qingyao Career Development Center in Shanghai, China, held on September 8, 2026.
The event was organized by the Shanghai Qingcongquan Children’s Intelligence Training Center, with the project providing a sustainable and dignified employment platform for young adults with autism, helping them take a solid step toward career independence.
Practical Fragrance Training, Real-World Career Outcomes
As one of the few institutions in Shanghai with a complete autism education chain from kindergarten to ninth grade, Qingcongquan helps children with autism who lack language or language barriers break down communication barriers. The newly-launched Xingyao Workshop and Qingyao Career Development Center has innovatively adopted a “half-work, half-study” model, connecting the entire chain of “rehabilitation education, vocational training, and employment placement,” creating a real socialized training platform.
Aromatherapy handmade crafts are one of the core vocational training courses at Xingyao Workshop. Leveraging its professional expertise in home fragrances, Iberchem was among the first to provide fragrances such as sweet orange and coffee to Qingcongquan, along with professional technical guidance to support students in making scented candles by hand.
A Growing Commitment to Public Welfare and Social Impact
Iberchem has long practiced ESG principles, continuously engaging in youth support and public welfare both domestically and internationally, giving back to society and integrating social responsibility into corporate development.
This year, the company’s participation has strengthened the long-standing public welfare ties between the Croda Foundation and Qingcongquan, with Iberchem introducing the technical capabilities of the fragrance industry into vocational education for special groups.
