Iberchem Tunisia unveiled today its new production center, located in the city of Ben Arous, south of the country’s capital. Thanks to this financing, Iberchem Tunisia will increase its production capacity and improve its efficiency both quantitatively and qualitatively. It will also lead to the creation of new jobs, up to an additional 10% on an annual basis. Furthermore, the refurbishment of the installations will reinforce and increase the presence of the company in foreign markets and pave the way for new business opportunities such as the manufacturing of food flavours.

Iberchem Tunisia has grown consistently over the past few years. Indeed, the fragrance specialist has doubled its turnover since 2010 to reach 4.4 million euros in 2015. The company exports over 50% of its production in neighboring countries such as Libya and Algeria, as well as in several other countries of Africa and of the Middle East.

The company first started its commercial activities in the city of Utica to move in 1994 towards the industrial zone of Borj Cedria in Ben Arous. Iberchem Tunisia is the only Tunisian company who produces and develops industrially fragrances using its own laboratories.
