How does it work?

The fragrance (scented oil) is encapsulated in microscopic capsules that adhere to fabrics or skin. The scent is released through mechanical friction (touch). 

Objective

The technology is designed to extend the fragrance effect on dry fabrics and dry skin through controlled release of encapsulated perfume over time.

*Vernova®: Formaldehyde-free and readily biodegradable Iberchem’s technologies following OECD 301 testing requirements. 

Vernova®Caps+ microcapsules feature a polymer wall that demonstrates significantly higher ready biodegradability than previous versions, exceeding the OECD 301 testing requirement of 60%, with a 90% biodegradability rate in 28 days compared to 80% in our first Vernova®Caps launch.

Comprehensive laboratory testing of Vernova®Caps+*, also reveals superior perfume performance compared to our traditional non-biodegradable melamine-formaldehyde based capsules, NeoCaps®. Additionally, Vernova®Caps+ offers a higher perfume load of 35% compared to 30% in the original Vernova®Caps technology and 30% in the original NeoCaps®.
