Perfumer Encarni Lorente Awarded at DETEX

Last Monday took place the fourth edition of the DETEX Fragrance Creativity Awards. Encarni Lorente, senior perfumer at Iberchem, received the bronze award in the category Reed Diffuser for her fragrance Burgundy Cherry. It is the second time Iberchem brings home a DETEX Fragrance Creativity Award. Two years ago, senior perfumer Isabel Parraga won the Gold Award for her fragrance Never Too Late in the category Fabric Softener.

Burgundy Cherry is a fruity fragrance that reflects the trend of premiumisation in air care. Its olfactory profile is therefore complex and sofisticated. “Red cherry notes are lightly wrapped in an ambery blanket that contributes to the long-lasting effect,” said Encarni Lorente. “The scent also includes notes of vanilla and oud, giving it additional rhythm and texture. It is enticing, lively and sweet like a summer fling.”
