Perfumer Beatriz Hidalgo Awarded by Sepawa e.V.
In October 2024, at the annual SEPAWA congress held in Berlin, the fragrance “Mauerpark,” created by Iberchem’s perfumer Beatriz Hidalgo, won in the Fragrance Composition category of the Call for Fragrance Competition – Streets of Berlin.
The fragrance features vibrant green top notes that convey freshness, with spicy and aromatic elements. The heart notes of sandalwood and cold accents evoke the chill of cement, while the base notes of vanilla and amber represent the warmth of the sun’s rays and the enduring spirit of the park.

Beatriz Hidalgo holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and has been part of the Iberchem team since 2012. Since her early days in the lab, she has consistently excelled. Her tenacity led her to a well-deserved position among the team of perfumers after completing Iberchem’s IRIS program. Throughout her successful career, Beatriz has created numerous fragrances for some of the best consumer brands worldwide.
